What we promise, and what we don't.

Truvela exists because healthcare pricing is hard to verify. That only means something if our own standards are verifiable too. Here they are.

Pricing Transparency

Every price we publish carries a source URL, the date it was verified, and any conditions attached to it. We show list and advertised pricing as published by the source — never a number we invented. Where a price depends on dose, duration, or a savings program, we say so next to the figure.

Content Standards

We publish original data, tools, and consumer guides. We do not mass-produce thin summaries of other websites. If an article does not tell you something you could not get elsewhere, we would rather not publish it.

Editorial Policy

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships. No partner, advertiser, manufacturer, or clinical partner can buy placement, a favourable comparison, or the removal of an unfavourable data point.

Medical Review Policy

Health education content is reviewed by a qualified reviewer before publication and carries a last-reviewed date. Reviewed content is still general education — it is never individualised medical advice, and it never establishes a clinician relationship.

Privacy Principles

We collect the minimum needed to run the product. During early access we deliberately do not collect weight, BMI, diagnoses, medications, lab values, or medical history — the Access Passport is a consumer access tool, not a medical intake form. We do not sell personal information.

Advertising Policy

We do not run interstitials, fake countdowns, fake viewer counts, or invented demand notifications. Any scarcity we display is mathematically accurate or it is not displayed at all.

Affiliate Disclosure

If a link ever earns Truvela a commission, it is labelled at the point of the link — not buried in a footer. Commissions never affect ranking, inclusion, or comparison results.

Correction Policy

When we get something wrong we correct the page, note what changed, and date the correction. Report an issue to our support address and we will respond.

Source Methodology

Pricing entries record price type, conditions, notes, who verified them, and an expiry where one applies. Data past its verification window is flagged or removed rather than displayed indefinitely as current.

Future Provider Transparency

If and when clinical services launch, you will be able to see the provider's name, credentials, licensing state, and a link to verify that license before any consultation. We will not show placeholder or demo providers as if they were real.

Future Pharmacy Transparency

If and when medication fulfilment launches, you will be able to see the dispensing pharmacy, its license verification link, the manufacturer, and FDA status. Any compounded product will be clearly labelled as compounded and not FDA-approved.

Scope of service

Truvela currently provides consumer information, cost-transparency tools, market research, and early-access membership. Truvela is not a medical clinic, a pharmacy, a prescription service, or a clinical decision engine. Nothing on this site diagnoses a condition, recommends a medication or dose, or determines whether you are eligible for treatment.
